En sab problems se bachne ke liye hame apne website ya blog ke backup data ko regular download karke apne computer ya pen drive me save karke rakhna bahut zaroori hai.

Lekin eske bavajood bhi kuchh logo ka blogging career poori tarah barbad ho chuka. Kyuki ek to ounki site crash ya hack ho  gaei, aur doosri taraf achanak ounka wo computer ya pen drive bhi kharab ho gaei, jisme ounke blog ka backup data save thah.

Es problems se bachne ke liye hame apni site ke backup data ko computer ya pen drive ke alawa cloud storage jaise google drive, dropbox, aur one drive aadi par bhi upload karke save rakhna bahut hi zaroori hai. kyuki computer ya pen drive par ham koei bharosa nahi kar sakte.

WordPress blog ke backup data ko google drive me automatically upload karne ke liye hame sabse pehle apne wordpress blog ke dashboard me login karna hoga.

Step 1. Updraftplus wordpress backup plugin

WordPress dashboard me login karne ke baad hame sabse pehle ‘updraftplus wordpress backup plugin’ ko install karke active karna hoga.

Step 2. Settings > wordpress backups

  1. Updraftplus wordpress backup plugin ko install karke active karne ke baad hame wordpress dashboard me show ho rahe setting ke option par apne mouse ke cursor ko le jana hoga.
  2. Ab hame ‘wordpress backups’ ke option par click karna hoga.

WordPress backups ke option par click karte hi updraftplus wordpress backup plugin ka setting page open hoga.

Step 3. Updraftplus wordpress backup plugin setting

  1. Sabse pehle hame es page par setting ke option par click karna hoga.
  2. ‘Files backup schedule’ aur ‘database backup schedule’ me weekly ko select karna hoga. Ham yahan apne hisab se doosre option bhi select kar sakte hai. agar hame apne blog ka backup data ko daily google drive me automatically upload karna ho, to ham yahan weekly ki jagah daily bhi select kar sakte hai.
  3. ‘And reetain this many scheduled backups’ ke option me 2 ko select karna hoga.
  4. Aur ab google drive ke icon par click karna hoga.

Google drive ke icon par click karte hi eske neeche kuchh details open hogi.

Step 4. Click on the link

Hame google drive icon ke neeche “follow this link to your google api console and there activate the drive api and create a clint id in the api access section’ ka ek link show hoga. Hame es par right click karke new tab me open karna hai. open karte hi hame google k sign in page show hoga.

Step 5. Sign in to continue to google api console

Ab hame gmail id aur eske password ka use karke google api console me sign in karna hoga. Sign in karte hi hame google api console ke page par pahunch jayenge.

Step 6. Create project

  1. Es page par hame sabse pehle ‘project’ par click karna hoga.
  2. Ab ‘create project’ par click karna hoga.

Create project ke option par click karte hi new project ki ek popup window open hogi.

Step 7. New project

  1. Yanan sabse pehle apne project ka naam likhe.
  2. ‘please email me updates regarding feature announcements, performance, suggestions, feedback, surveys and special offers’ ke neehe ‘yes’ ko select kare.
  3. I agree that my use of services and related apis is subject to my compliance with the applicable terms and service.’ Ke neeche bhi ‘yes’ ko select kare.
  4. Aur ab create ke button par click kar de.

Create ke button par click karte hi ek new project create ho jayega.

Step 8. Googe apps api’s

  1. Ab hame library ke option par click karna hai.
  2. Aur eske baad ‘drive api’ ke option par click karna hai.

Drive api ke option par click karte hi google drive api ka page open hoga.

Step 9. Google drive api

Es par page par hame ‘google drive api’ ke samne show ho rahe ‘enable’ ke button par click karna hoga. Enable par click karte hi google drive api ke samne disable show hone lagega. Ab hame left sidebar me show ho rahe ‘credentials’ ke option par click karna hoga.

Step 10. Credentials

  1. Left sidebar me credentials ke option par click kare.
  2. Ab Oauth consent screen ke option par click kare.
  3. ‘product name show to users’ ke box me apne blog ya website ka name likhe.
  4. Aur phir save button par click kare.

Save button par click karte hi setting save ho jayegi. Aur ham return credentials ke page par pahunch jayenge.

Step 11. Create credentials

  1. Es page par sabse pehle hame ‘create credentials’ ke option pae click karna hoga.
  2. Aur phir ‘oauth client id’ ke option par click karna hoga.

Oauth client id ke option par click karte hi ‘create client id’ ka page open hoga.

Step 12. Create client id

  1. Web application ko select kare
  2. Name me Updraftplus likhe
  3. ‘Authorized JavaScript origins’ ke neeche apni website ka url type kare.
  4. Ab hame waps pehli tab me updraftplus wordpress backup plugin ke setting wale page par jana hoga. Aur google drive ke logo ke neehche se googel drive client id ke blank box ke theek oupar authorized redirect url ko copy karke ‘authorized redirect urls’ ke neeche paste karna hoga. 
  5. Aur eske baad ‘create’ ke button par click karna hoga.

Create ke button par click karte hi setting save ho jayegi. Aur ‘oauth clint’ ki ek popup window open hogi. Es popup window me hame client id aur client secret ke code show honge.

Step 13. Oauth client

  1. Client id ke code ko copy karke browser ki pehli tab me open updraftplus wordpress backup plugin ke setting wale page par google drive ke logo ke neeche ‘google drive client id’ ke box me paste karna hoga.
  2. Ab esi tarah client secret ke code ko copy karke google drive client secret ke box me paste karna hoga.

Dono code ko 2 alag alag box me paste karne ke baad ab hame esi page par neeche jana hoga.

Step 14. Save setting

  1. ‘Include in files backups’ ke samnne show ho rahe sabhi box me click kare.
  2. Email ke samne wale box me bhi click kare.
  3. Aur save changes ke button par click karke settings ko save kar de.

Save button par click karke settings ko save karne ke baad ‘remote storage authentication’ ka ek message show hoga.

Step 15. Remote storage authentication

Es message me hame ‘follow this link to authorize access to your google drive account (you will not be able to back up to google drive without it.)’ link show hoga. Hame es link par clic karna hoga. Es link par click karte hi ek new page open hoga.

Step 16. View and manage the files in your google drive

Es page par hame allow par click karna hai. allow par click karte hi hame sabse oupar ‘success you have authenticated your google drive account’ ka ek message show hoga. Aur phir hamare wordpress blog ka backup data hamare google drive me automatic upload hona start ho jayega.

Step 17. Backup data

Backup data ki uploading process complete hone ke baad ham apne google drive me jakar ‘updraftplus’ naam ke folder me apne wordpress blog ka backup data ko dekh sakte hai.

Agar hamare blog se kuchh content kisi bhi wajah se delete ho jaye to ham google drive me available wordpress site ke es backup data ko ham kabhi bhi restore karke apne blog ko pehle jaisa kar sakte hai.
